My heart is full & broken at the same time.
I can’t quite describe it.
I’m grateful for these years, for each classroom that quickly became a second home; a safe haven for me and some incredible kids.
Why am I leaving? Opportunities I can’t say no to…ones that will be more beneficial to my family & my mental health at this time. This work will fill you up, but can too often also leave you on empty.
I’m leaving now (For now? Forever?) but definitely before I burn out.
To the students who spent a year of your life with me: keep learning & thriving. & KEEP ME UPDATED 😘 you know where to find me. ❤️
To everyone else: Be an advocate for educators.
