Roles reversed bc mom got lots to learn…about pokemon😆 As he’s gotten older, and developed interests, I realize they mostly aren’t interests I share. Because of this, I’ve also started to feel a disconnect. Instead of allowing that disconnect to widen, I’ve recently started making an active effort to spend time with him doing the things HE loves. Pokemon, sports trading cards, legos, and wimpy kid (actually so funny💀) Maybe it’s a lesson for me.
