A year ago today, we finalized the purchase on our house in NJ. After we got married in 2012, I moved to Texas to be with Hiren (both of us grew up in the NE) But believing in fate brought us back “home.” I remember walking into this empty house last year (the house we bought from across the country without even seeing it first) with such a rush of fear and uncertainty. Huge decisions never feel comfortable.
