Are we truly alone? 🦠
Today, astrobiologists are turning that ancient question into science – searching for the fingerprints of life on worlds light-years away.
Some may orbit fiery red dwarfs, others bask in the glow of stars like our Sun. Some might be wrapped in storms, others covered by oceans we can only imagine.
From observatories in space -
@hubbleesa,
@esawebb and Cheops - to the missions soon to come, Plato and Ariel, we’re learning what makes a planet just right for life.
No confirmed signs yet… but every new world brings us closer to understanding what it takes for life to thrive and what makes our own world so extraordinary.
Because the more we search the cosmos, the more we see how rare and precious Earth really is.
