“As you walk, there will be people who stop you and say, ‘That’s my school.’” Principal Tom Coppola ’01 addressed our school community just prior to what was another tremendous CHS Walkathon. We capped off our annual fundraising effort with the traditional Walk for Canisius in and around Buffalo’s Elmwood Village, including a visit to Delaware Park amid the fall foliage. The outstanding drone videography is by Hagen Leuthe ’28 of CHS Digital Media. The CHS Drumline got the walk started as students and faculty exited the Blue Doors. Walkers returned after a couple of hours for another epic Faculty vs. Seniors Basketball Game – and another even more epic awarding of Walkathon pie-in-the-face incentives (#staytuned). Students raised thousands over the last several weeks, exceeding several goals as they competed for Walkathon contests and incentives through our pioneering House System.
