📍Meet Virginia Co-State Chair, Gabrielle Hahs (gabrielleh_13) Gabrielle discovered powerlifting shortly after moving to Virginia, when a local meet at her gym sparked her passion for the sport. Following her “watch one, work one, do one” philosophy, she began volunteering as a spotter/loader before competing in her first meet in June 2023. Since then, she’s earned both her state and national referee certifications and has competed multiple times — continuing to deepen her involvement with USA Powerlifting. As Co-State Chair, Gabrielle loves connecting with lifters and collaborating with Virginia’s dedicated meet directors and referees. Together with her co-chair, Danielle, she’s focused on expanding membership across the state and introducing more athletes to powerlifting through outreach to local gyms and high schools.
