Jason Reitz is a right-handed pitcher who was selected in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2025 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins. Standing at 6-foot-11 and weighing about 215 pounds, his extraordinary height makes him one of the tallest pitchers ever drafted — tying the record for tallest players if he reaches the major leagues. Reitz came to Oregon after a transfer from Saint Mary’s College of California and posted a 3.50 ERA with 73 strikeouts in 64.1 innings in his lone season with the Oregon Ducks. His fastball has been recorded up to the upper 90s mph, and scouts note he features a four-pitch mix (fastball, cutter, slider, change-up). While his height gives him a unique angle advantage, he still has work ahead on repeatable delivery and consistent command to fully unlock his upside.
