Heavy rainfall reported in Pembroke Hall, St Mary, as Tropical Storm Melissa edges closer to Jamaica. The Meteorological Service has advised that Jamaica remains under a Tropical Storm Warning and Hurricane Watch. Melissa continues to produce strong winds near 95 km/h (60 mph) and could bring 10–20 inches of rainfall, especially across eastern and northern parishes — increasing the risk of flooding and landslides.
