A Different Side of #TheGrizzly 🐻 THORPEDO ANNA (Fast Anna), the reigning Horse of the Year, has been enjoying some downtime on the farm since her official retirement from racing was announced last week. The seven-time Grade I-winning champion spends her days in the company of Cooper, an older pony who she has grown quite fond of. Before Thorpedo Anna begins next chapter as a broodmare at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms at Xalapa in Paris, Kentucky, fans will have the chance to spend time with her this coming weekend (Oct. 25-26) at both Keeneland and Churchill Downs. According to trainer Kenny McPeek, fans will be able to visit Thorpedo Anna Saturday, Oct. 25 at Keeneland from 11AM-12PM ET. She will be in Stall 1 at Barn 25. On Sunday, a retirement ceremony honoring Thorpedo Anna will be held at Churchill Downs during Race 6. She will walk over with the field for Race 6 at approximately 3PM ET and remain in the paddock for approximately 20 minutes until the race is completed at 3:26PM ET. ...
