The Used, When We Were Young 2025 REVIEW: It’s been a quarter of a century since a band called The Used first started making its way out of Utah’s emo underbelly. And it is very fair to say that right here and right now, they have never sounded fiercer, fresher and more fantastically vital. Their main stage showing at When We Were Young continues their celebration of the first decade of their career, which has filled much of 2025, with the porcelain doll from their self-titled debut, the hung heart from ‘In Love And Death’ and the discomforting boxhead from ‘Lies For The Liars’ joining the band on stage.
