In an exclusive interview with CBS News lilialuciano Colombia’s left-wing President Gustavo Petro, who has been sanctioned by the U.S. says the Trump Administration does not notify his government before launching attacks on vessels located off the country’s coast. The administration has announced at least 10 such strikes on alleged drug boats during the past two months, including two off Colombia’s Pacific coast this week. Petro has been critical of President Trump and his advisors and accused the United States of committing war crimes in these cases. Still, he says, the door is open for talks with President Trump, who he says he has invited to meet with him in Colombia several times.
