DYK that ASU has a huge community urban garden space located on the Polytechnic campus? It's called the Garden Commons and it's an urban green space connecting people and place, focused on supporting a holistic food system and food security. 🌿 The Garden Commons has themed areas to include: a community garden, citrus orchard, resource room, composting facility, and patio space. The Polytechnic campus Farm Stand and surrounding food banks will benefit from the gardens harvest! The Farm Stand sells garden produce and flowers seasonally, October through April. 🌱 Although the Garden Commons is only available for use through classes and special events, students are able to volunteer and help maintain the community!
