Here are the detailed instructions ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Make sure to save this for future projects🤍 Split Skin Effect 1. Film Two Shots - Shot 1: First outfit, facing forward with your head straight at the end pose. - Shot 2: Second outfit, filmed on a green or blue screen using a cloth of the same color. I use a blue screen because I have my face painted green. 2. To pull the cloth with tension to form a straight line matching the center of your first shot. - This tension creates realistic skin-pulling physics and natural shadows. - It also helps fingers and hair blend cleanly with the body edges. 3. Head over to Adobe after effects Key out the background so it stays still when the body splits open. 4. Freeze frame the shot where the split happens. - Mask the body in half along the straight center line. 5. Apply the “Mesh Warp” to the split sides of shot 1 and keyframe the “distortion mesh” as it opens. - Use the cloth opening as a guide for the Mesh Warp effect. 6. Create a shape layer behind t...
