Southlake Knocks-out McKinney 📍 Round 3 of the 6A DII playoffs brought Carroll and McKinney together for a post thanksgiving game. Both teams had extreme moments of weakness throughout the game. From numerous penalties , to ejected players, Friday afternoon was a intense match up to say the least. Dragon offense made up for the first quarter mistakes quickly as they scored nearly every possession in the second half. Emotions ran high as the score board became a game of back and forth. Southlake managed to pull off the W, finishing the game 42-35. This victory sets up the Dragons to face off against Denton Guyer or Byron Nelson, depending on the out come of today’s match up. The season might be coming to a end, but the energy could not be higher.
