This is the reason I haven’t been posting much baking content lately. I’ve basically turned into a full-time contractor instead of a baker. 👨🏻🍳➡️👷🏻
I thought starting a food truck was tough, but remodeling and opening a bakery while still running the business is on a whole different level.
Every bit of free time I’ve had has gone into getting this shop ready. I’ve been paying rent for months without a single dollar coming in, so the faster I finish, the sooner we can finally open the doors.
I originally said November 1st for the grand opening… yeah, that’s not happening. Realistically, it’s looking more like January, after I wrap up my big winter market at sowaboston (more on this later)
I’ll keep filming and sharing the progress as much as I can because I can’t wait to have a daily spot where you guys can come hang out anytime. The food truck isn’t going anywhere, it’ll still hit the road, but having a permanent home base is going to be a huge step forward for the brand.
