I want to take the time out to give A SPECIAL THANK YOU to my wife chocolateme . As you all know, I received an award for “Leadership in Community Policing” from the United States Attorney General Office District of Delaware. I’m here to tell y’all, I COULD NOT HAVE WON THAT AWARD WITHOUT MY WIFE. Being a Trooper is hard, but being a wife to a Trooper is even tougher. There are days when I have to leave for night shift, and my wife is left home alone to take care of the kids. Meanwhile, the kids are crying, the house is a mess, my wife is hungry, she still has to pump her milk, feed our children, clean them up, change diapers, chase josh around, calm Madison down, put them to bed etc. Oh, and my children are 2 and 11 months. Let that sink in if you have kids. While I leave and get a mental break from the stresses of home, my wife is left there alone in the trenches holding it down.
