Did you know that several cities in Colorado have overturned breed-specific bans on Pitbulls? The people of Denver, Aurora, Lone Tree, and Commerce City voted to allow ‘Pitbulls’, which is shorthand for a number of breeds, including American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, or Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and other dogs with similar physical characteristics. I encourage you to visit dog shelters and rescues, and always adopt if you’re choosing to bring home a new furry Friend.
