We have come to the final week of my ‘Covers, Collaborations & Collages’ song releases. 
We close with “When Death Arrives” a song by ruben_hakhverdyan, the incredible Armenian poet, singer, and songwriter. Ruben and I met a long time ago. I’ve been a fan of his for a long time and I really wanted to cover this song. I translated it to English from Armenian and recorded it on acoustic guitar and added some other instruments about 20-25 years ago. Lyrically, this is a very compelling song exploring what happens when we leave this life, imagining through the perspective of the deceased. What kind of life was lived? What are the emotions of those left behind? What aren’t the emotions? Ruben has such immense talent in how he uses language and crafts stories through his writing. I am excited to share that with all of you in this rendition.
