The Premier League is working to ensure the future of football is for everyone, both on and off the pitch. During this month’s ‘No Room for Racism’ campaign, aspiring coaches from around the country gathered for a workshop at St George’s Park, forming part of their two-year inclusive pathway programmes with clubs across the Premier League and EFL.
 Taking to the pitches and classrooms at one of the country’s leading training centres, the event was designed to help those from under-represented backgrounds further progress their careers — delivering and later evaluating sessions with a range of players from academies and local schools.
 Having already supported 100 coaches, 91% of whom are now in full-time employment, the Premier League’s Coach Inclusion and Diversity Scheme (CIDS) and Professional Player to Coach Scheme (PPCS, delivered alongside the PFA and EFL) are aiming to offer opportunities to up-and-coming coaches alongside ex-players from Black, Asian and other minority ethnic ...
