A volcano south of Manila spurted ash and steam to an altitude of 2km during a series of eruptions on Sunday, according to the state volcanology and seismology agency. Don’t worry though: the alert level for the Taal volcano, approximately 70 km south of Manila, remains at level 1 on its five-tier scale, signifying a low degree of unrest.
