In Saturday's bananaball game against the Banana's All Stars, auburnbaseball debuted the first of the new Nike uniforms. The Tigers are throwing back to the 1960s and 1970s with a new powder blue uniform. The jerseys match almost identically to what past Auburn teams wore, with the arching wordmark on the front and the orange and white striped sleeves and collars. The original uniforms were paired with matching powder blue pants and orange belts. The new design is worn with white pants that feature a powder blue stripe on the legs. Auburn is also sporting powder blue belts and socks with the look. The new jerseys are also using the new Auburn Athletic numerals rather than the block font used for the original uniforms.
