URGENT – FOOD JUSTICE ALERT FOR IDAHOANS More than 100,000 Idaho families are facing the very real risk of going without food because SNAP benefits are being delayed or cut as the federal funding lapse drags on. And yet, Idaho’s governor, Brad Little, has failed to act to protect these families—despite his rhetoric about keeping the state safe and strong. For families relying on SNAP: no guarantee that benefits will arrive on time. Grocery shelves cannot wait. Rent, utilities, and meals don’t pause because of budget games. For the rest of us: this is a test of leadership and values—when times get tight, do we say “everyone deserves food and dignity,” or do we let people slip through the cracks?
