When I first started on Instagram, my goal was to earn enough to take my family on a ski trip. I opened a "secret bank account" and reached my goal. Five years later, this is our third trip to Vail for Christmas and it's truly one of the most magical places to spend the holidays! Less to do at home and more memories to make with family! Here are my tips ... ❄️ Go the week of Christmas. It's less crowded and less expensive. We typically go the 20-27. ❄️ Open presents Christmas morning and then go skiing! No lines! ❄️ Although my sister flew directly into Vail, we flew into Denver and drove the 2 hours to Vail. It was $1000 less a ticket x 9. ❄️ We prefer the Lionshead and Vail Village area. My sister stayed at the @arrabelleatvail (gorgeous) and we rented a house 5 minutes away.
