Well this wasn’t in the plans…. When I shared the @goldenrescuesouthflorida recently, I was only doing so to spread awareness. Then I got a call about a unique situation with a 10-month-old Golden whose family was transferred overseas. With Scout in decline, we knew that Benny would need a buddy, but were not ready for the baby puppy stage again. The thought of having a potty trained older puppy seemed more manageable, even with three, so here we are! “Cookie” came from a Turkish family and only “speaks Turkish” so the kids are commanding him in Turkish and English. We changed his name to fit the Sandlot baseball theme and since Squints and George (Babe Ruth) were shot down, we went with ROOKIE… “Rookie Smalls.” ✨Give me all the tips for humping since we can’t get him neutered for a bit.. or a local trainer.
