With many questions about our pool, I thought I’d give a quick pool tour, offer specs and give a little design insight when building a pool for a family. (Comment “links” for all the decor and furniture.) Saltwater chlorinated pool is 18’ x 30” Three exit points to make it easier for young swimmers to get out of the pool. I’ve done this in last 3 pools. The oversized 7’x 13’ sun shelf was designed as a play area but also a massive exit point for children. Travertine decking is the color Alaskan Sky. Interior tile is a neutral quartz tile. I didn’t want traditional blue tiles because I feel like that can end up dating a pool. The interior surface color is StoneScapes Tropic Blue. (I went with a deep blue rather than a blue green since rain and lots of swimming naturally can make the pool a bit greener.
