❌ UPDATE: After this satirical video was made, my kid fought a 10 month infection that scarred her body and landed her in the ER multiple times. It doesn't matter where to me... It doesn't matter what resort it may be attached to.... Going to a water park with my children is right up there with throwing myself in front of a bus for them. It's a sacrifice. A damp, hairy sacrifice that involves wet bathroom tile, steps that never dry, untamed bikini lines flourishing with wild abandon, Band-Aid dodging and vomiting on the inside knowing people are using the wave pool as a toilet. It is often said that "Blessed is a mother who would give up part of her soul for her children's happiness."
