Every Little League game, every early morning practice, every high school game night , every travel ball summer, every coach and umpire that dedicated their time ... every moment was worth it to watch my son take his first steps onto the field as a college baseball player last night! Although it was just a pre-season game, it meant so much! It was the culmination of his hard work, the community of people who supported him, the coaches that sacrificed time with their families, the nights spend scheduling summers with his stepmom, the coaching from his dad and stepdad... it all came together for that first collegiate catch, hit and run scored!
