THIRTEEN years between these two sisters.... FIFTEEN YEARS between my oldest and youngest children... ... and their bond is inseparable. I often get asked about the age gap between my children. The two "bigs" are 18 months apart; the "littles" are all 18 months apart... but there is a gap that ranges from 6-13 years between the two sets. When I "started over," the gap was an initial concern but I knew my heart wasn't done. The upside of an age gap is that there is a lack of sibling rivalry, older children gain increased empathy and responsibility while the younger ones gain a role model and an extra hand to hold.
