📚✨ Our Pre-K Lions recently had a captivating visit from author Jenn Cruzado (authorjenncruzado) in celebration of Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month! She shared her book "Coco! Cherry! Mango!" which follows the tale of a cheerful Coquito cart on a fun-filled adventure through uptown NYC, serving sweet treats and sharing the rich culture of neighborhoods like Harlem and Hamilton Heights ⏤ bringing to life the joy of community, delicious icy treat flavors, and beautiful cultural traditions. Ms. Jenn, a proud New Yorker with Dominican and Puerto Rican roots, wowed our students during the read-aloud. The children made amazing personal connections and were so engaged throughout! She even left us with fun activities to continue the learning.
