🤟 The Well: Talking Hands – An Intro to ASL Workshop 🤟 At March On! Festival 2025, attendees joined JaRon Gilchrist (jaron_the_fame), nationally certified ASL interpreter and educator, for an immersive introduction to American Sign Language. Participants explored the history, fundamentals, and cultural significance of ASL while gaining hands-on experience in this vital language. As a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult) from a multigenerational Deaf family, JaRon brought deep personal insight and expertise, bridging language access, performance, and cultural equity.
