We’ve analyzed the latest spy photos of the 2027 BMW X7 (G67) and used Photoshop to visualize BMW’s next flagship SUV. In this video, we reveal our exclusive design renderings and explain every detail — from the new split headlight design and squarer kidney grilles, to the refined winglet-style door handles and updated proportions.
We also discuss what’s coming under the hood — including the S68 twin-turbo V8, mild-hybrid powertrains, and the upcoming all-electric EX7 with BMW’s next-gen Gen6 batteries and 800-volt architecture. Inside, the new X7 will move to iDrive 10 with the Panoramic Vision display and a minimalist cockpit design inspired by the Neue Klasse.
Production for the G67 BMW X7 starts in August 2027 at BMW’s Spartanburg Plant, and it’s expected to launch as a 2028 model year.
