Four astronauts. One mission. Underground 👨‍🚀👩‍🚀👨‍🚀👨‍🚀 Deep in the Italian Apennines, an international crew — @astrojaws (@nasa), Makoto Suwa (@jaxajp), @astro_almulla (@mbrspacecentre) and @esaastro_marco — took part in our CAVES training. For four days, they lived and worked together in total isolation, exploring a 3.5-km-long cave system, mapping and sampling in complete darkness. Each task demanded teamwork. Each step relied on trust. From overcoming 20-metre drops to finding new paths through the unknown, every move mirrored the cooperation needed in space.
