Among the incentives of our annual CHS Walkathon fundraiser this year was to be able to deliver a pie to the face of Principal Tom Coppola ‘01 and CHS all-time leading rusher Elijah Kimble ‘27. An awesome day for our community’s traditional walk around Buffalo’s Elmwood Village was followed by the always-epic Faculty vs. Seniors Basketball Game and then the serving of the pie. Students raised thousands over the last several weeks, exceeding several goals as they competed for Walkathon contests and incentives through our pioneering House System. Hunter Hanny ’28 won the underclassmen contest to pie Kimble while Eli McKissack ’26 earned the right to deliver the final pie to Coppola.
