#TerrierTuesdays: Meet David Sanchez (bu_cas ‘27)! Originally from Hobbs, New Mexico, as a first-generation college student and child of Mexican immigrants, David initially felt uneasy about his transition to Boston University, but once he found his community, everything changed. As time passed, David grew comfortable taking up space and embracing the opportunities that come with being a student in higher education. He chose BU for its urban setting and strong study abroad program and is double-majoring in Linguistics and Political Science. After graduation, David plans to move to New York City and work in the legal field while preparing for the LSAT and then eventually, law school. He has been very involved in campus life through the Boston University International Affairs Association (bu_iaa), serving on the Secretariat for BarMUN XVIII, and working as a Senior Editor for the Boston University Journal of History.
