Meet Regina Whittick, Executive Assistant at Penn Medicine, and her two rescued pups, Daisy and Gypsy. 🐾 Regina has been part of the Penn family since 2011 (with a brief stint at CHOP) and has been supporting Penn’s Way for the past three years. She began donating once she could add her favorite charity, Stray Network Animal Rescue, to the list — a Tennessee-based nonprofit that rescues dogs from states like Mississippi and Tennessee, fosters them, and transports them to Pennsylvania for adoption. This is how Daisy and Gypsy came into her life. Daisy, the shy but smart one, and Gypsy, the troublemaker with a blue eye and a permanent limp that never slows her down, are inseparable. Regina’s story shows how giving back, whether to humans or animals, is at the heart of the Penn community.
