Thanks for following along this American Archives Month! MCHC’s unparalleled collection of books and journals, manuscripts, maps, photographs, oral histories, ephemera, and other archival materials is one of the most extensive in the state—and new things are accessioned all the time. The H. Furlong Baldwin Library is always seeking materials that document Maryland people, places, and events throughout history in order to complement our existing collections and to help tell stories that have been underrepresented. Pictured here is a new item currently being processed by our team of archivists—the "Snodland" manuscript volume containing accounts and records of the Tilghman family of Kent, England and Queen Anne's County, Maryland from the 16th century to 19th century, in both Latin and English.
