Taipei Pride letโs goooooo ๐ณ๏ธโ๐โ๐ผ2025.10.25
This year I chose to walk with the crowd, not stand above it โ to move with my friends, to be with the people, and to let the unexpected moments unfold. I wanted to feel the energy up close, to meet whoever crossed my path.
At the end of the march, I met a girl in a pink dress who shared her story so touching it made me cry the house down boots. ๐ญ She also wanted me to officiate her wedding with her late girlfriend โ her ashes held inside a rose she carried in her hands. ๐ฅน๐นA precious and wholesome memory I will hold dear forever.
On 9/23, a flood left a town in Hualien buried in mud that was as high as one story. Through the power of thousands of volunteers, the mud was dug up. I carried a shovel that day โ a symbol of unity and the determination to protect our home.
Thank you, Taipei Pride, for always being amazing and a beacon of hope in Asia that one day, marriage equality will be possible for our neighboring countries. ๐ฉทโค๏ธ๐งก๐...
