The #CROCtober festivities continue with the American Alligator!🇺🇸⁠ ⁠ Do you remember the difference between an alligator and a crocodile? 🐊As you may remember, alligators have broad U-shaped snouts and are typically found in freshwater - while crocodiles have more narrow V-shaped snouts and are more common in salt/brackish water. 💧⁠ However, both alligators and crocodiles belong to the broad order, "Crocodilia", qualifying our duo of alligators for this #CROCtober highlight!
