West Valley residents may have awoken to smoke in the air after fire broke out at an RV storage facility in Litchfield Park. A huge plume of black smoke rose over the area near Indian School and El Mirage roads, according to video from the Citizen App, after the fire was reported around 6:30 a.m. on Monday. A fire department spokesperson said the fire damaged at least 15 RVs, and that number could increase as the damage is still being assessed.
