here’s 3 things that I learned when I started taking strength training seriously: 1. you’re not gonna get bulky. You just start to look strong. More sculpted, more defined, like your body finally has shape and power behind it! 2. You start feeling so much more confident. There’s something about lifting heavy things that rewires your brain a little. You walk taller, you feel capable, and honestly… you just feel hotter. (sorry but it’s true) 3. your hormones will love it. Lifting helps balance cortisol (so you’re less stressed), improves insulin sensitivity (huge for PCOS), and supports estrogen + progesterone. Translation: better sleep, more energy, better mood!! It’s wild how much better your body feels when start actually building muscle.
