𝗚𝗦𝗥 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀: Furthering our commitment to local education and community development, Grand Sierra Resort donated $15,000 to Vaughn Middle School in Reno. “We’re incredibly grateful for Grand Sierra Resort’s continued belief in our students,” said Principal Mandy Lobkowicz. “Without the GSR’s generous donation, we wouldn’t be able to provide the students with incentives for improved attendance, increased academic achievement and positive, good behavior. Their support strengthens our school community and helps our Eagles SOAR.” Shannon Keel, General Manager of Grand Sierra Resort was joined with the GSR Cares committee as they personally presented the donation during the school’s morning assembly, where students were also honored with achievement awards, showcasing the power of the donation and continuing a partnership that has helped the school expand access to programs and opportunities not covered by traditional funding sources.
