A clerk who worked at the Centreville Water Board is facing felony theft charges after being accused of stealing $21,000 from the board. According to court documents, Rebecca Diane Abercrombie is accused of taking the money between June 1 and Oct. 14. She was arrested Oct. 27 on a Class B first-degree theft charge and taken to the Bibb County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
