Women’s pro sports are getting a major spotlight! 🥎🏀🏐⁣ ⁣ After an incredible inaugural season, Athletes Unlimited and ESPN have announced a multi-year rights extension, strengthening ESPN’s role as the official broadcast partner for AU’s professional leagues in softball, basketball, and volleyball. 👏⁣ ⁣ Starting in 2026, ESPN will air 50+ AUSL softball games every year, including 47 regular-season matchups and the best-of-three AUSL Championship Series – plus a marquee game on ABC, marking the first time professional softball will air on broadcast TV in the U.S. 📺⁣ ⁣ The partnership also expands coverage of AU’s basketball and volleyball leagues, with all 24 games from each season airing annually on ESPN platforms.
