ArielAtkins.net ! Continuing to seek knowledge and education about the history of BLACK people, not only in the U.S., but from around the world is my goal this month and beyond. My story doesn't start with enslavement, nor did it end there. My goal these past few years has been to reach back out to my communities, specifically youth, and pour into them. I'm not sure what to make of the problems we still face today, but I will lock in to helping kiddos who look like me know that they're beautiful, smart and that their lives and minds matter. Their childhood matters. They deserve to grow old. They deserve to be happy.
