Great teachers never stop learning. This Terp team’s new AI module helps teachers learn, grow and support their students’ success. Using recordings and transcripts of lessons, the artificial intelligence delivers personalized support for both educators and students, offering much more frequent feedback than previous methods. UMD researchers spanning umdcollegeofed, infocollegeumd, and umdclarkschool partnered to develop this AI model that analyzes information in collaboration with a certified education coach. Typically, educators receive feedback only once or twice a year, but the M-Powering Teachers program offers ongoing support for continuous learning.
