LIONS ADVANCE IN TRINITY TOURNAMENT: The jserra.girlstennis team will be well represented on the final day of the Trinity League Individual Tournament after a busy opening day on Monday at Santa Margarita High School in Rancho Santa Margarita. JSerra had two doubles tandems punch their tickets into the tournament semifinals. Sophomores Julianna Johnson and Ava Levitanus were victorious in the Round of 16 over Orange Lutheran’s Chloe and Sofie Elkhoueiry (6-3, 6-0) and in the quarterfinals over Santa Margarita’s Claire Bovberg and Sheridan Hagmier (6-1, 6-1). Junior Naomi Clarke and sophomore Isabella Geffre also advanced to the semifinals with a win over Orange Lutheran’s Skyden Koustas and Sabine Le (6-1, 6-1) in the Round of 16 and a victory over Santa Margarita’s Kensley Moore and Lisa Stevens (6-1, 6-1) in the quarterfinals.
