Happy Wicked Day! 🩷🫧💚 🧹 Although the musical has really only been in my life for about four years, Wicked instantly changed me for good after my first time seeing it in fall 2022. I remember sitting in the Nederlander in Chicago the second the curtain closed and thinking, "I need to see this again." Since then, I — coincidentally — haven't gone a year without seeing it, and every trip to Oz has been just as magical as the first time I saw it. From my first Elphie being Filipina and the honor of seeing the first Filipina Glinda to sharing magical memories with my friends and all of the wonderful fellow Ozians I've met and connected with along the way, Wicked is so much more than a musical to me. I can't wait for my next trip to Oz and hope Wicked continues to show people the magical power of love and friendship for 22 more years — ideally forever!
