ā¼ļø Important movement needed for a good throw from highlevelthrowinghlt ā¬ļø
As part of a throw, the rear hip has to load first before there is internal rotation in the hip socket. This femoral IR movement Is what creates rotation or sets of pelvis to rotate before the trunk rotates. Again, this happens after the rear hip is loaded. This hip IR creates proper sequencing from hips to torso through ball release. Something to pay attention to when working with throwing athletes!!! A great way to incorporate your HLT bands into your throwing program is using them for patterning drills.
