10 years ago I pulled out my college savings to purchase a full frame DSLR and huge underwater housing. I’d lug that heavy monstrosity to some very hard to get places because I was obsessed with the view it gave both above and below the surface. When I got my first 360 camera I dove head first into the technology dedicating all my time to finding new creative ways to capture things meaning all my old cameras started collecting dust so I sold them. Split shots are something I missed capturing so when I saw the size of the new insta360 dive housing I knew it was just big enough to bring these shots back to life because of how wide angle the 360 is. Due to the stitching being different above and below the water you need to shoot with intention and be aware of where the stitch line would be relative to what you’re trying to capture.
