I took the second picture last February at the Amsterdam zoo. I remember telling myself that my next picture of a lion had be taken in Africa. It seemed so far off at the time, but only a year later I found myself face to face with this lioness 🤷‍♂️ Hard to believe these photos were taken barely a year apart. I was still using my first little camera. It wasn’t the most powerful but I’ll always be grateful to my parents for believing in me and starting me on this photography journey (also it didn’t weigh 300 lbs like my current setup).
